Massimo Ricciardo studied at Accademia delle Belle Arti in Florence and lives and works in Turin. He often uses archival materials, video, sound and photography within larger installation settings. He exhibited his work among others at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institute, Florence (2017/18); at the exhibition 'Luther and the Avantgarde' at Karlskirche, Kassel (2017); at Kunsthaus, Dresden (2016); Palazzo Donà Brusa, 56th Venice Biennale (2015); Das Weisse Haus, Kunstverein Wien (2014); Pavillion Social, Kunstverein Lucca (2014); Raffaele De Grada Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, San Gimignano (2013).
