Fedor Blaščák

Fedor Blaščák is a philosopher, activist, and publicist in the field of contemporary Slovak history. He participated in a successful project of reconstructing and transforming the synagogue in Žilina designed by the renowned architect Peter Behrens. He operates in both the academic and the civil sector. He is the author of studies and essays in the fields of philosophy and contemporary history. He was co-editor of Transit 89/89 (MetropolVerlag, Berlin, 2009), a contributor to the Atlas of Transformation (JPR Ringier, Geneva, 2012) and the initiator of the book Uncovering the Shoah (Historical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, 2016).
